By Road


From the North

From Junction 10 of the M40, follow signs to Middleton Stoney along the B430. Pass through the village of Ardley, and continue for 2.5 miles until you reach Middleton Stoney. As you approach the crossroads with traffic lights, you will see the Jersey Arms (Best Western) pub on the right. Talbot Lodge is on the right just before the pub, with vehicular access via a sliding wooden electric gate. If the gate is closed, please pull in just in front of it, and ring the front door bell just along the road.



From the South

From Junction 9 of the M40, at the Wendlebury Interchange roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A41. Follow signs to Bicester town centre, which will take you straight over a couple of roundabouts. At the 3rd roundabout, take the 1st exit signposted Middleton Stoney.


Carry straight on for 3 miles, crossing 2 more roundabouts en route, until you reach Middleton Stoney. At the staggered crossroads with the traffic lights, turn right, and Talbot Lodge is on the left hand side immediately after the Jersey Arms (Best Western) pub. Vehicular access is via a sliding wooden electric gate. If the gate is closed, please pull in just in front of it, and ring the front door bell just along the road.


From the A34

If you are coming up the A34 instead, a couple miles before the Wendlebury Interchange there is a Little Chef and petrol station.


Take the turn-off to Middleton Stoney just after it. From the slip road take the first exit at the mini-roundabout signposted Weston-on-the-Green and Middleton Stoney. Pass through Weston and a couple of miles further to Middleton Stoney.


As you enter the village you will come to a crossroads with traffic lights. Carry straight on over, and Talbot Lodge is immediately after the Jersey Arms (Best Western) pub, on the left hand side. By Train

Frequent rail services to & from Bicester North Station which is 10 min drive.
